Born in Warrnambool, Australia, singer-songwriter and folk-rock artist Ben Witham creates songs that are both lyrically rich and deeply felt — shaped by a lifetime of lived experience across the personal and the political, and an awareness of life’s fragility and impermanence.

His music carries a thoughtful sensitivity to the joys, struggles and quiet complexities of being human. Through stories of love and loss, the natural world, the search for meaning and the courage to confront injustice, Witham weaves evocative narratives into memorable melodic lines.

Writing and performing since the early 1970s, he brings more than four decades of experience to stages across Australia — from festivals and folk clubs to cafés, restaurants and intimate house concerts.
