Shona Jones

Trained as a lawyer, Shona now enjoys her life as a working artist after a career in business and self-employment. She has worked alongside other New Zealand and Australian artists in various locations and undertakes private commission work.

Shona is inspired by the natural world and particularly colour and light. She grew up in a part of New Zealand with a Mediterranean climate and beautiful natural light. She has held a lifelong interest in and passion for art and, in the last five years, has focussed on painting with a special interest in botanical art and landscape subjects.
