Despite early beginnings as a painter, my current practice is very much multidiciplinary and in more recent years, I also began using photography in my work. I have always been fascinated by how the ordinary can sometimes seem extraordinary and curious about the relationship between loss, desire and memento mori.
My other passion is education. I have lectured at Swinburne University, the ACU Melbourne and have been lecturing at Photography Studies College, Melbourne since 1991. I teach visual and conceptual development and I am currently the First Year Convenor, Bachelor of Photography course and Convenor of the Art Major in the Advanced Diploma of Photography course.
