Neil searches for a personal type of geometric abstraction driven by his interest in the relationship between human activity and the urban landscape.
His methods characteristically combine visual research of the built environment and formal research in design and colour interaction with intuitive construction. This collision of planned precision and artistic intuition reveals abstract works that depict a continuous search for compositional balance.
