Jonny Atkinson

I have been interested in pencil drawings since I was little. Every Saturday, I eagerly reached out to the latest soccer magazine or my favorite cartoon, trying to imitate the players and superheroes I saw in front of me. I furthered my love for art through school and college and eventually graduated from Kingston University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I enjoy the simplicity of pencil art. Relying on the underlying tones and textures of a subject to capture a spirit is a complex and time-consuming task that requires a lot of patience. But the end result is the most satisfying feeling an artist can experience.
