Ingrid Heward

Ingrid Heward is a Melbourne-based pastel artist.  She has had a lifelong passion for creating art, including line drawings, oils and more recently pastels.  Prior to retirement from full time work, Ingrid’s main opportunity to paint came during travels with her late husband, Graeme Heward (an accomplished watercolour artist).  Since focusing on pastel painting over the last 5 years, Ingrid has flourished as an artist – she received the Emerging Artist award at the Pastel Society of Victoria’s 2013 Exhibition and has subsequently shown her work in a number of exhibitions, with great success. 

Ingrid paints a variety of subject matter, from landscapes to portraits and is particularly adept at capturing unusual light conditions in her work.  Ingrid accepts commissions.
