Cheryl McGannon

I am a contemporary  abstract expressionist painter,  my work stems from a subconscious and intuitive process. It is working with the serendipitous and the spontaneous that I most enjoy. I manipulate the materials to express myself, to find my own visual language. I do this by the continual layering of textures, marks, and colour to create a history of surface.
